General Company visit at Tehrotech GmbH
On Monday, October 27, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mayor Peter Boch, representatives from Pforzheim University, and the WSP to present our company and provide a comprehensive overview of our current stage of development.
As a specialist in contract electroplating for delicate rack plating and bulk goods, our company refines high-quality turned, milled, stamped, and laser-cut parts for a wide range of industries—including the electrical and electronics industry, mechanical engineering, medical technology, telecommunications, and selected customers from the automotive sector.
About us
Our story began in 1978 under the name PMO. Through various stages—including operating as Franz Konrad Galvanotechnik GmbH and later Teherani Oberflächentechnik GmbH—we were repositioned in 2002 as today’s Tehrotech GmbH. With the appointment of Mr. Elvis Aliov as plant manager in 2016 and his transition into joint management alongside Ms. Duygu Isik-Aliov one year later, we successfully implemented a comprehensive modernization of our company.
Technological innovation: selective plating
A key focus of our technological strategy is so-called “selective plating” for bulk goods, which we introduced in 2017. This process reduces the use of precious metals—especially gold—by up to 40%, while simultaneously increasing resource efficiency and sustainability. In times of rising global gold prices, this represents a clear competitive advantage.
Sustainability as a core principle
Sustainability is more than just a buzzword for us—it is a fundamental part of our corporate philosophy. Our wastewater is fully treated in-house—free from heavy metals, chlorides, and cyanides—and our chemical storage complies with the latest safety standards. In addition, we have been operating our own solar power system since 2024 and received WHG certification in 2023.
Measured growth
We currently employ around 36 skilled workers and have nearly tripled our revenue since 2017. At the same time, we believe in responsible growth: economic success should go hand in hand with quality of life for our employees.
Looking ahead
We are currently investing around €400,000—without public funding—into relocating our rack plating operations to a new facility. Modern staff areas are being created on the upper floor in collaboration with our team, and automated electroplating lines are planned to further optimize processes. We are also actively working on collaborations with Pforzheim University to develop new surface coatings with properties similar to gold—but more cost-effective and resource-efficient.
We look forward to the coming years as we continue to expand our technological expertise and sustainability strategy, delivering even greater value to our customers.
